I remember, on my soccer team, the Rainbows, there was a girl with short curly brown hair, who at kickoff, kicked a goal. It didn’t count, but it was AWESOME.

I remember, “Howdy neighbor, happy day, we’re here to cheer you on your way, with a song, and a smile, and a yippee-ki-yay, we the people, U.S.A,” which was the opening line to my 2nd grade play. The only reason I got to play Lady Liberty, was becuase Erica Dowes was kidnapped by her father and I was her understudy.

I remember in the 2nd grade, we all had to bring our lunches, and after we ate lunch, we had to keep our trash. This is where my teacher, Mrs. Caldwell, demonstrated the amount of trash vs. recyclable goods I used every day. I still feel guilty for using plastic bags.
